Bill Wolcott is a leading authority in the rapidly emerging area of customized nutrition. Over the course of the 20th century, many leading scientists and clinicians contributed to the evolution of customized nutrition – a field that is also known as “Metabolic Typing.” As a specialized scientific discipline, Metabolic Typing® is the culmination of 70 years of pioneering research on the part of many of the century’s most innovative nutritional researchers. Dr. Weinstein ran a state of the art, multidisciplinary, multi-physician practice for over twenty years combining neurology, radiology, exercise rehabilitation, biochemistry, Chinese medicine, Acupuncture and Chiropractic.
He has achieved diplomate status in post graduate neurology and was one of the first physicians to achieve three separate certifications in exercise rehabilitation in the United States. He served on the Quality Assurance Committee of the American Chiropractic Association, where he formulated the Rehabilitation Guidelines which all Chiropractors must follow. He is an Advanced Certified Metabolic Typing® Advisor and has recently completed his study in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition®.
His leadership and entrepreneurial spirit paved the way in the managed care arena, where he was a founder and board member of the Managed Care Network. He was the first chiropractor ever selected to serve as a panel physician for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield Capitol Care. He was also chosen as a panel physician for Prudential (Prucare) Insurance, Giant Food Stores, Travelers Insurance, A.I.I.A. / P.P.O., Health Care, Focus, and CorVel. He served as an Independent Medical Examiner for Hartford Insurance, Kemper Insurance, and Mediq Claims Review. He was accepted as a Life Member in the National Registry of Who’s Who in recognition of exemplary service, both to the community and to the profession.
In the last few years Dr. Weinstein has combined his exercise expertise with direct to consumer marketing where he wrote, produced, directed and starred in his own long form infomercial, taking an exercise device of his own invention from start up, through successful media testing, to launch.
Currently he is the Founder and CEO of 2nd Cousin, Incorporated, a marketing and media company dedicated to making healthcare professionals more successful. Having built three successful practices over the last 25 years, he brings an expertise in marketing and media that no one else has.
